How Did This Thing Get Started?

It all started while I was listing and selling beach front properties in San Diego County. I was operating in the traditional mind set of getting 6% or 7% listings.

While giving a listing presentation to a seller of a million dollar ocean front,  she interrupted, looked me in the eye, and asked, “ Is your service really worth $60,000 dollars”?

You know what, it got me thinking, no service is worth that much. In that brief second the seed was planted in my mind that there had to be a more equitable way to provide seller services.

The Flat Fee MLS concept was born and developed. Some Twenty plus years later, I’m still offering sellers a fair way to list and sell their properties.
